February 2008
Dear Irish Terrier Friends,
Thank you - so many of you for the really wonderful response to the January newsletter. We couldn't have imagined it would give such pleasure to Irish Terrier people all over the world. Without the help of Jane I could have not read all the letters and emails. She's a whiz kid on the computer and much more efficient than I. I do however get to read them all in the end and am always delighted to hear your news and have the pic's put up on the website - do keep sending them.
I was away in January and my two Irish Zuli and Beegie were looked after at home by a favourite friend who spoils them rotten. They’re well, and as ever, pleased with themselves! We've had Isobel and Tessie two other family Irish Terriers to stay which makes for a riotous time with cavalry charges into the garden and bagging places in the car.
Come and see the Irish at Crufts in the ring on Terrier day which is on Saturday 10th March this year. It's always exciting and there are some lovely dogs being shown.
We have a space in the Discover Dogs area and that is always great fun - gorgeous dogs to meet representing the breed. Button badges, cards and leaflets all waiting for you... and time to swap stories. Do come and support our wonderful breed and our clubs - their work is very important.
The calendar has been a huge success and we've had some extra ones printed to sell at Crufts.
All the books will be on sale at the Irish Terrier stand at the ringside on Saturday and other lovely Irish Terrier memorabilia.
Looking forward to meeting you. My only problem with Crufts is that I want everyone to have a prize!
Many greetings and my love to the dogs,
Lucy Jackson
